Plants truly evoke an individual emotion from black and white. Their focus is distanced from other subjects, in a way difficult to describe. However, it is evident that the more beautiful the plant/flower, the more the colorless image tends to attract attention to the intricacies of the subject, rather than its shape and "flavor" per se.

The landscape images are of the east side of Seneca Lake; straight across from my abode. The plants caught my attention for their unique outlines against the sky.

I was in a mixture of shooting today; as can be seen by the differing angles and focus. Pretty much anything and everything won the heart of my lens, all in the splendid colorless plate.

Just an experiment with my bike, and the odd effects the spokes make in an image.

Perfect timing. My first photo op in over 2 months, and the great behemoth itself rolls on through for a stellar performance.
